  •  So...hooray for life lessons.

A lovely picnic by the dam with ben, courtney, and rachel.

So we're driving to an abandoned school on the outskirts of shreve.  Lovely day, blue skies, windy.  Rachel and Courtney leading in their car.  Ben and I following in mine, goofing off, being ridiculous.  A bit of distraction.  One big curve on a windy day.  Skid. Swing. Crash.  One totaled car.  Hello guard-rail.

Nobody was hurt, praise Jesus.  But the corolla is gone.  My baby, best friend, used and abused, I always said that car was a hass and could take anything.  Apparently hass days are over and she still managed to keep us safe.  I'll miss you.

And as a tribute to the best car I ever owned, please recognize a moment of silence while i hum taps...

  • Hi, this is microbiology speaking on behalf of Giselle.  I have currently taken over her life.  Feel free to ask questions about her current status but realize that most will be answered with biological mumbojumbo.  thanks for playing.

  •  so just in case you're wondering...

microbiology is the reason i'm posting.  actually, the avoidance of microbiology is the reason i'm posting.  suprise suprise.  i've had my fill of tertiary structures.  and amino acid subunits.  and bacterial peptidoglycan.  thank you.

so i'm looking to renovate a hut in africa.  or lets get on a big boat and sail through the triangle.  just keep the amino acids and tertiary structures and bacterial peptidoglycan away.

so i recieved a personal letter from a vet in cameroon two days ago.  its very exciting, he's a veterinarian and missionary in a villiage there.  the surgeon i worked for this summer gave him my address.  i think that's exciting.  oh, and furthermore, i'm looking into a vet school near puerto rico.  open doors to the world.  i dig.

About Me

  • I can't explain why things happen the way they do, or judge them good or bad. All I know is that its part of a bigger picture...small puzzle pieces coming together to form one stroke on van gogh's starry night.
